Towards A Greater Nigeria
If you have blood running through your veins, I suspect you want more out of life, regardless of what you may have accomplished so far.
It says that the only way to get the best out of life is to put in the best into life. Works anywhere in the World, Nigeria inclusive.
We can see that more is possible, but we are too busy “posturing and chasing our fancy tails” to spare the focused time we need to become great. Nigeria is blessed beyond measure.
You only need to open your eyes and read the road signs to know you’re right where you need to be. You are right at the threshold of your prominence.
A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man, we are warned. But to be forewarned is of little use if we refuse to take heed and take up arms.
What the mind can conceive and accept in faith, the hands will create by grace. If grace has brought you this far, what but grace can see you all the way?
Little do we know that we embody the infinite creative genius of nature.
The point is that over time, sticking with poor habits can impoverish you, while good choices can make you rich over the same period. You get to decide.
And where vision is lacking, we are told that the consequence is dire. Where there is no vision, the people perish.
Illusions are the “truths” we tend to live by until we come to know better. The challenge is to get to know better sooner than later.
But the only chance that is worth longing for is the one that visits those who have labored diligently to create their own luck.
Invariably, a deluded choice-maker is buying into the sinking ship of a misaligned personality.
A habitual drunk who claims to dialogue with God knows the God of whom he speaks. But do you?
Don’t worry about how things are supposed to be. Work from the authentic premise of things as they are.
Together, we can make Nigeria great.
