The Lagos State branch of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors held its 16th Annual Adekunle Kukoyi Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Sheraton Hotels – Ikeja.
The guest lecturer, Mrs. Omotayo Omotosho, MFR (Former Director General, Nigeria Tourism) highlighted the Limitations confronted by Nigerian Institutions of Government, especially in a Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown and what can be done to mitigate these constraints.
Stating how obviously Nigerians clamor and are in need of results from our leaders, she talked about the urgent need to review outdated laws and improve administrative capacity through continuous training.
She went ahead to stress the importance of transparency and accountability in governance while ensuring sustainability through consistent monitoring and evaluation.
